About us
How did LUDAN come about?
As an initiative of students from different universities in the country, the Nicaraguan Academic Debate University League arises, in which, for the first time in 2021, they will be able to represent delegations in simulations of parliamentary debate to talk about relevant issues and find solutions to them. .
What are our objectives?
First, to promote spaces where university students demonstrate their leadership capacities and skills by representing delegations from various countries, in the search for solutions to issues of global interest, in Parliamentary models of international organizations.
In the same way, we want to organize debate conferences with different committees in a parliamentary model for different universities, to expand the knowledge of university students on issues of social, economic, and political interests and finally, to promote public speaking and the exchange of ideas among the student community. .
Promote issues of international relevance through spaces in which it can be debated in parliamentary models of international organizations to find solutions, and thus demonstrate their skills in public speaking and critical thinking.
